Thermomix® TM6 - On Screen Message

Thermomix® TM6 - Tips & Care Guide

Apparently, the motor has turned off. There are a few steps you can do:

– Remove the mixing bowl from the base unit.
– Reduce the quantity of food in the bowl and/or add some liquid.
– Wait for approx. 5 minutes (cooling down time).
– Re-insert the mixing bowl.
– Check that the air intakes at the back of the base unit are unobstructed.
– Turn the dial to re-start the appliance.

If the error message is still displayed after the cooling time, please contact customer services.

The wrong ingredients may have been put into the mixing bowl.

Remove the mixing bowl from the base unit and empty it.

Put the empty mixing bowl back into the base unit.

Restart the cooking process.

If you find moisture in the appliance when you remove the mixing bowl, there may be various reasons for this:

'- This may be water residue from the bowl handle and the contact cover after rinsing.
It may be water dripping from the bowl lid or Varoma®, or the moisture may come from overcooking food.
If you find more and more moisture in the appliance, please check to ensure that the blade bearing, the seal and the mixing bowl are sitting correctly.

Should the issue then reoccur, it may be worth having the appliance checked by our repairs service.

Although our mixing blade meets a very high standard of quality, signs of wear may appear through use or depending on the ingredients added.

These may be visible on the cutting edges of the blades, for example. Small notches on the cutting blade may not be visually appealing, but do not impair functionality.

Please note that the tough demands of crushing hard foods at the upper end of the speed range may cause signs of wear in your Thermomix ® mixing bowl too.

Dents within the bowl can only be caused by metal objects such as cutlery which fall into the mixing bowl during preparation.

Damage caused by the preparation of frozen fruit or meat can be ruled out.

Dents to the outside of the bowl can only be caused by dropping or bashing the mixing bowl.

The speed of the Thermomix® mixing knife is always gradually increasing from zero to reach the maximum speed. In that way, the mixing knife is not going to push big chunks of food in the upper part of the mixing bowl but cut them into smaller pieces before increase the speed of the knife.

That intelligent way of regulating the speed of the mixing knife assures lower vibrations and even cut pieces.

Sometimes you may notice that as cooking with the Thermomix® the rotation speed of the mixing knife does not increase as you are turning the dial. That behavior is usually consciously programmed in the Thermomix® TM6.
If the speed of the knife in the turbo stage increases only slowly, it could be because the temperature of the pot and its contents is higher than 60 degrees Celsius.

In this case, please let the food cool down and then slowly move the speed selector to level 10.

If you notice the motor of your Thermomix ® stopping and starting briefly, this is normally to free up the knife blades from anything that is blocking them.

You don’t need to do anything.

- Please make sure your Thermomix® TM6 is on a flat, stable surface with nothing (like the power cable) under the feet.
- Press 'Tare' before weighing and avoid moving the appliance while adding ingredients. You can weigh even while mixing (up to speed 4).
- Clean under the feet regularly.
- If the scale still isn’t accurate, restart the TM6 and try again.
- If the issue continues, please contact Thermomix® Customer Service for support.

Yes.

If you click on the field with three dots next to the ‘Next’ button, you can select ‘Recipe Details’ and will get the opportunity to have a look at an overview of all steps of the current recipe (please scroll down to see all details).

If you click on any step in this list, you will return to your current cooking step.

To clean your Thermomix® TM6 easily, use the Pre-Clean Mode or blend water with a drop of dish soap for 20–30 sec / Speed 8–10. For odors, mix ½ lemon with water / Speed 10. All bowl parts (except the base) are dishwasher safe. Keep the TM6 on a dry, flat surface and wipe contacts with a soft cloth.

Always cook with the correct temperature settings, i.e. 100°C / 120°C / Varoma

1) 100°C: For general cooking
2) 120°C: For sauté and stir fry

Always ensure the amount of liquid correlates with the amount of steaming time (250g of liquid per 15 minutes). Thicken sauces or gravies only during the last stages of cooking for 2-3 minutes only.

Stir the ingredients in the bowl using the original Thermomix® spatula in between cooking to ensure that the ingredients do not stick together - especially when cooking starchy and/or sticky food.

Empty all cooked food from the mixing bowl immediately after cooking, fill up the bowl with water and detergent to run the pre-clean mode with the appropriate pre-clean setting.

The rubber ring may break in any of these scenarios :

1. ingredients to be chopped/grinded/crushed are too hard or exceeded the recommended size or quantity. Please refer to The Basic Cookbook (look under: Resources, Chopping functions section for more guideline.)

2. regularly chopping / grinding / crushing hard or partially frozen ingredients may wear out the mixing knife faster than normal usage (high usage)

The most common reason is a region mismatch between
your Cookidoo® account and your Thermomix® TM6.

  • Different servers by region: If your account is registered under Europe (e.g., Germany), your bookmarks are stored on the European server. But if your TM6 is set to Malaysia or Singapore, it connects to another server — causing sync issues.
  • Different feature availability: Some
Cookidoo® features vary depending on the selected country/region.

👉 Steps to resolve:

1. Check your account region

  • Log in to Cookidoo® (app or website) → Profile → check your country/region setting.

2. Unify the region

  • If you’re in Malaysia or Singapore, choose Singapore or Malaysia.
  • On TM6 → Settings → Cookidoo® → log in with the same regional account.

3. Re-register if necessary

  • If your region was set incorrectly, create a new account with the new email address and select country as Singapore / Malaysia.

✅ Once both your account and TM6 are set to the same region, your
bookmarks will sync properly.

You can renew or purchase your Cookidoo® subscription using VISA or PayPal . Simply choose the option that’s most convenient during checkout.

If your payment failed after updating your card information, try these steps:

1. Log in to your Cookidoo® account at https://cookidoo.international/

2. Go to Account Settings > Subscription & Payment

3. Make sure your updated card details are correct and saved

4. Check if the auto‑debit went through successfully
